Effectivity

A user-specified value, typically identified as a date or serial number(s), which denotes the applicability of a specific condition on an item or document. Examples are:
- The effectivity date of a document or item, i.e. when it is suitable for use
- The applicability of a waiver or deviation
- The implementation of a modification on a selected serialized item
